It's raining....again

I am so sick of the rain I can barely stand it!!! But....the rain has brought on some interesting observations by Emma and Tyler...

Emma was giving me a hard time about what I picked out for her to wear. Just as she was whining, it thundered. I told her, "See, Jesus made it thunder b/c you weren't acting right". She looked at me like I was the stupidest woman on the planet and said, "Mom, Jesus doesn't make it thunder. Mother Nature does!" As a mother you always dread the day your children become smarter than you and I think Emma most definately IS!

We were getting in the car and Tyler was observing the rain from the garage and he looked at me and said, "It's raining from the rain clouds". Everyday he is talking better and better. It seems like he is really getting a hold on speaking correctly and using words in the right places and the way he says "rain clouds" is by far the cutest thing in the world. I think it makes the rain worth it!
